The television tower «Ostankino» in Moscow measures 560 meters, making it the highest in the world. In 1967, for the first time ever a broadcasting station was built, containing all the technical and editorial rooms and studios. In the 90s, in the course of the «Perestroika», the transmission of new publicizing youth programs like «Points Of View» or «The Topic» from «Ostankino» began, soon becoming vastly popular among viewers of all age groups.
